Soul's Harbor

There's a place I am told
A home of the soul
Where no tears shall ever be known

When He Set Me Free

I wouldn't believe Him, and I wouldn't receive Him
Well, I never knew I needed such a Friend
Well, I started seekin', and I started searchin' lookin' for that Man from Galilee
Well, I started prayin' Lord, hear these words I'm sayin' come on down from Glory and set me free

Don't you know he put a runnin' in my feet, He put a clappin' in my hands
He put a shoutin' in my heart, He took a doubtin' from my mind
My way got brighter, load got lighter
I started walkin’ I started talkin'
I started singin' kept on shoutin'
God said that He would receive me, God said that He would deliver me
Thank You Jesus, I thank you Jesus, I thank you Jesus, Oh Lord
Everybody, well, you really should have been there when He set me free

Too Late

When time runs out for you
And hope for life is through
The deadline you have crossed
God's mercy ever lost

Too late too late for tears
Too late you've wasted precious years
What will your answer be
Facing eternity

Perhaps this very day
The Spirit calls your way
Give Him your life, your all
This could be your last call

Try A Little Kindness

If you see your brother standing by the road
With a heavy load from the seeds he's sowed
And if you see your sister falling by the way
Just stop and stay you're going the wrong way


You got to try a little kindness

Just shine your light for everyone to see

You'll overlook the blindness
Of the narrow-minded people on the narrow-minded street


Don't walk around the down and out
Lend a helping hand instead of doubt
And the kindness that you show every day
Will help someone along their way

Jesus Took Care Of It All

Oh but my heart is ecstatic today
Clouds that once threatened have all rolled away
I was depressed when I started to pray
But Jesus took care of it all

Things that had caused me to stumble and fall

Once I was troubled with questions and doubt
What in this world was my burden about
He touched my shoulder and then I found out

No one ever cared for me like my Jesus
There's no other friend as fine oh, as He
No one else could take this old sin and sorrow from me

And the old rugged cross made the difference
In a life filled with heartache and defeat
I will praise Him forever and ever

Without hope walked the shell of a man
Then this hand with a nail print stretched downward
Just one touch then a new life began

I have wished for the wealth of a great millionaire
And I have reached for that bright star up above, oh yes
But the thrill, the thrill of it all and it seems, it seems so small
When compared to the thrill of my Saviour's love

I'd rather lose everything that I have in this world
Than to live just one day without His love
There is no earthly prize that's too great, too great to sacrifice

Of the Saviour's love

Well I remember when I was just children
The time the people used to treat the neighbor like a fellow man
Them all day singin' and them big prayer meetins
When a man was proud to walk up and shake on his neighbors hand

Now some good neighbor
Would help lift your burden
And the simple joys of life a friend would share


The times are harder and the people are changin'
Today most folks couldn't tell you who their next door neighbors are
All their guns are loaded, the front doors are bolted
